Music By You aims to encourage original composition, and a natural starting point is writing a one-line melody. Your tune can then be arranged for two or more parts, to play with friends or school ensemble.

As well as encouraging composition, by enabling children (and adults!) to play and hear their own pieces, this will promote enthusiasm for ensemble work and performance.

Ideal for a school project - a small group can write a tune together, and have it arranged for the instruments they play.

Melodies to be arranged can be submitted by tape/CD or as written music.
